Recording |
|
File Format |
JPEG format: Each still image is stored as
one JPEG file. |
| MJP (motion-JPEG) format: A motion video
stream. MJP allows for extended-recording time. |
| Recording Media |
Hard disk |
| File Size |
File size will vary by recording settings.
Example:
Approximately 1GB for 10 hours of consecutive recording by one
camera in standard image mode, 320 x 240-dot resolution, MJP
format, 2 frames/sec. |
| Image
Resolution |
640x480, 320x240, 160x120 |
| Image Quality |
Favor motion, Standard, Favor clarity |
| Recording
Interval |
Full motion (images are recorded as they are
received by from the camera)
Still(Images are recorded at programmable intervals. Interval
should be over 0.5 second) |
| Simultaneous
Recording |
Images from up to approximately 10 cameras
can be recorded simultaneously in motion-JPEG (MJP) format.*
* Using a PC which meets or surpasses the "recommended" system
requirements, shown below. The maximum number of camera images
which can be recorded simultaneously will vary by system
specifications of the PC. |
| Manual
Recording |
Recording can be started and stopped
manually. |
| Programmable
Maximum Recording Size |
When the remaining hard disk capacity reaches
a programmable number of megabytes, new image files can
overwrite old ones, or recording can be stopped altogether.
|
|
Motion-Triggered Recording |
Recording takes place only when motion has
been detected. Sensitivity is adjustable.
* The accuracy of this feature will vary by image resolution,
picture quality, and the type of image being recorded. |
| Timed Recording |
Recording will start and end automatically on
preprogrammed days at preprogrammed times. |
| Remaining Disk Space
Limitation |
When remaining hard disk space reaches a
programmed level, recording is automatically stopped. This
ensures that camera image recordings do not consume all
available space on a hard drive. |
|
Image Control |
| Continuous
Playback |
A series of recorded still images (JPEG
files) can be played consecutively, similar to motion images.
The shorter the interval between still image captures, the
smoother playback will be. Playback speed is adjustable. |
| Recorded Image
Preview |
A preview of recorded image files can be
displayed. |
| Recorded Image
Control |
Recorded image files can be copied, moved,
and deleted. |
| Automatic Backup |
Recorded image files can be automatically
backed up at the preset time to a preset location. |
| File Format Conversion |
A single motion image file (MJP file) can be
converted into a series of single still images (JPEG files).
Additionally, a series of still images can then be converted to
a single video file (AVI file). |
|
Image Search |
| Image Search |
Recorded images can be search for by file
format as well as by date and time. |
|
Printing |
| Image Printing |
Image files can be printed. Multiple JPEG
images can be organized onto a single page. |
